er
January to June 30, 2021), i.e. pro forma 2021 half-year revenue of €23.3 million.

Corelec’s turnover amounted to €7.1 million on 1
er
semester 2021.
After the 1
er
half of its 2022 financial year, BIO-UV Group recorded consolidated sales of
€28.1 million, a strong increase of +75%
compared to 1
er
half of 2021, despite the geopolitical context and the still high tensions on the supply chains.
On a proforma basis, by integrating Corelec over the entire 1
er
half of 2021 (€23.2 million), the
half-year growth amounted to +21%.
At constant exchange rates and scope (excluding the impact of Corelec, consolidated since 1
er
November 2021), the
organic growth stood at +17%
.
This sustained growth in activity in 1
er
semester results from a strong recovery of the Maritime division (+38%) and a dynamic development of the Land activities (+101% in consolidated data and +13% in proforma data) driven by the successful integration of Corelec .
Land Activities: strong growth of activities in France and of Corelec
In
France
, BIO-UV Group delivered solid half-year growth of +22% in proforma data, supported by sales of O’Clear solutions and Akeron salt chlorinators in the recreational market. It should be noted that sales of Akeron heat pumps also recorded double-digit growth.
At the
export
the global health context, mainly in Asia, slowed down activity, which was stable at €6.2 million.
Maritime activities: return to strong activity with organic growth of +38%
After a 2
n/a
semester of 2021 penalized by postponements of projects and deliveries, BIO-UV Group returned to sustained growth of +38% from the 1
er
half of 2022, despite a demanding base effect. As a reminder, the Maritime division had progressed by +34% on 1
er
semester 2021.
Driven by the reinforcement of its teams, the group marketed more than 100 ballast water treatment systems during the 1
er
semester, including the new BIO-SEA M-Series range (high and medium speeds of 300 m
3
/h at 2,100m
3
/h). The business potential of this division in 2
n/a
semester, in 2023 and 2024 remains very significant.
Outlook 2022
As of July 15, 2022, the
BIO-UV Group’s order book amounted to €13.3 million, including €11.3 million of orders already signed to be delivered in 2022
(€5.1 million for the Maritime division and €6.2 million for the Land division).
After the 1
er
half of 2022, BIO-UV Group confirms that the 2022 financial year will be marked by dynamic growth in activity, accelerated by the contribution of Corelec.
The publication of the 2022 half-year accounts will be an opportunity to refine this objective.
Benoit Gillmann, Founder & Chairman – Managing Director of BIO-UV Group, declares:
”
In the current context marked by tensions of all kinds and by inflation, the performance of BIO-UV Group on the 1
er
semester 2022 is remarkable. Once again, I would like to thank all the teams who delivered excellent performances with very solid fundamentals. BIO-UV Group continues to deliver strong growth, paid its first dividends and also distributed profit-sharing to all employees as well as an additional salary increase to take into account high inflation.
This once again demonstrates the interest we take in all our stakeholders: employees, customers, suppliers and shareholders.
We are also continuing to make progress on our strategic axes: recreational, maritime, “reuse”, industry and aquaculture. In these times of increasingly frequent water shortages, extreme temperatures and an increasing world population, water is more than ever an absolute and vital priority. Treating it is more than ever a necessity in order to meet the needs of populations. BIO-UV Group is at the heart of these needs by delivering relevant and competitive solutions. »
