bioMérieux: increase in annual net income by half


(CercleFinance.com) – bioMérieux publishes for the year 2021 a net income group share up 49% to 601 million euros and a record contributive current operating income, up 31% to 801 million, i.e. 23.7% of turnover.

The in vitro diagnostics group’s annual revenue was nearly 3.38 billion euros, up 10.5% organically, with sustained demand in the last quarter for respiratory panels and sales solids in microbiology.

bioMérieux will propose a 2021 dividend of 0.85 euros per share, i.e. 17% of net income group share. For 2022, it anticipates an organic decline of -7 and -3% in its turnover, and a contributory current operating profit of between 530 and 610 million euros.
