Biomutant announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S for September 6

With its original universe and its many rather well intertwined systems, Biomutant was a title full of promise. Unfortunately, Experiment 101 had proven to be a bit too ambitious for its own good. And if the technique of the title on PC and old generation consoles was not an optimization model, we can at least hope that the Swedish studio will have corrected the situation by its release on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S September 6th.

The developer obviously promises us many improvements in this area. Like many other titles before it, Biomutant new generation version will offer us several graphic modes to choose between. On PS5, it will thus be possible to opt for the quality mode at 30fps in 4K resolution; “unleashed quality” which will guarantee a minimum frame rate of 40 fps and a maximum between 50 and 60 fps up to 4K resolution as well; and finally the traditional “performance” mode which will combine a resolution of 1440p and a constant frequency of 60fps. On Xbox Series X, Biomutant will rely on a native resolution in 4K at 60fps, while the Series S will cap at 1440p while ensuring the 60fps.

We should finally be able to count on faster loading times and HDR support. For new buyers, Biomutant will be offered at a price of 39.99 euros, while owners of the game on PS4 and Xbox One will be able to switch for free.
