Biomutant Announces PS5 and Xbox Series Versions

Open world action RPG, Biomutant, will be entitled to a second youth on consoles thanks to a version intended for current machines. A patch will also be available for those who already have the title on the previous generation.

Biomutant gets back on track

Biomutant was initially released on May 25, 2021 with us, and the reception was more or less good or mixed depending on the case. This is also well illustrated by our test. Still, the AA of 101 Experiment has sold more than a million copies (in August 2021) which makes it a great success without being an absolute hit either. The game has therefore largely covered its costs without forgetting that it has benefited from several patches over time.

These PS5 and Xbox Series versions are therefore announced as the ultimate version which will not have a priori the small hassles of the launch. No additional content on the horizon, they will only benefit from the usual technical inputsin other words :

  • Native 4K resolution for PS5 and Xbox Series X
  • 1440p only on Xbox Series S
  • Much faster loading times
  • A framerate of 60 FPS

In game, you will benefit new graphics modes with a quality mode, a “unleashed” quality mode, and a performance mode. On PS5, the RPG will take advantage of the features of the DualSense controller. Good news for owners of the game on PS4 and Xbox One, upgrading on PS5 and Xbox Series is totally free and you can of course transfer your backup.

Biomutant will be available on PS5 and Xbox Series (as well as the patch) on September 6th.
