BioShock creator gives news of his latest project, Judas

We couldn’t have been more discreet since the release of BioShock Infinite in 2013, Ken Levine took advantage of the State of Play on January 31 to reveal new images of
Judas. And if this new title has no direct link with the BioShock saga, Levine nevertheless claims a certain form of filiation between Judas and its previous games, particularly with regard to the richness of the universes.

Judas takes place in a futuristic world where everything is not as rosy as appearances would have you believe. In this trailer, a young woman speaks directly to the players to make a shocking revelation. What if every word spoken during your life was recorded without your knowledge. Worse still, the young woman who turns out to be the Judas implies that everyone’s thoughts are also saved and displayed on a series of screens.

Thus, all the emotions felt by humans, whether love, fear or hatred, would be planted in their brains, like weeds in a garden. The protagonist then promises to free everyone from this trap, no matter what people might want. And this may not be easy since our Judas is located in Mayflower, a space city where the inhabitants have been trained to spy on each other and to denounce each other at the first offense. It remains to be seen which path you will choose. Repair what you destroyed or burn everything to ashes.

As of yet, no specific release date has been shared. On the other hand, we can already expect that
Judas is available on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
