Ken Levine, director of SystemShock 2 or BioShockcomes back in force with Judas, a brand new title. Developed and published by Ghost Story Games, the is expected on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series at an unknown date.
In the purest line of games made by Levine, we find ourselves once again facing a narrative FPS that has things to say. What we see is very similar to his work on BioShock, but this time around the story seems to overwhelm the player more than society. It’s hard to really say what will happen as the trailer is still too enigmatic. One thing is certain however, alliances and betrayals will be part of it.
On the gameplay side, Judas doesn’t seem to have much difference from the director’s other titles. It’s a narrative FPS, probably with RPG mechanics, in which the heroine can unlock powers. Society also seems sufficiently advanced to have cybernetic implants, justifying the use of some form of magic.
