BioWare unveils crucial information, news soon

The big information of Dragon Age 4 tonight has been revealed and it is likely to make people disappointed. No trailer, but all the same capital information.

Thanks Tom Henderson. The insider teased earlier today a big announcement for Dragon Age 4 and it just dropped. Nothing extraordinary on the horizon, since BioWare reveals above all (finally) the official name of the game as well as a logo.

Dragon Age 4 becomes Dragon Age: Dreadwolf

If like us you were hyped by tonight’s announcement, sorry. No trailer, teaser or even small concept arts to make our mouths water. Instead BioWare reveals crucial information around the fourth opus: its name. Don’t say Dragon Age 4 anymore (but we’ll do it anyway because of Google), but Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. A title that refers to the Implacable Wolf, whose name we will keep silent for the moment for those who have not yet done Dragon Age Inquisition.

This name evokes in any case a divinity that divides. Perceived as a traitor by his people or a savior by others, the relentless Implacable Wolf will do anything to save his people, even destroy the world. BioWare reassures, those who will start the saga with Dragon Age 4 … sorry Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, will not be lost.

News this year, surely at the Game Awards

You don’t have to worry about not knowing your antagonist yet. It will be introduced in due form when the time is right. But we teased her comeback in 2018 when we announced #TheDreadWolfRises in 2018.

For the old timers, BioWare is giving us an appointment later in the year for new information. Given the studio’s communication, the game should be talked about again at the Game Awards 2022. Dragon Age: Dreadwolf was indeed announced at the 2018 conference before returning briefly with a trailer in 2020. on its release date? As it was known, the teams confirm that the game will not launch this year. According to several reliable sources, EA would aim for a release by the end of 2023. In the meantime, we suspect that BioWare will distill information here and there on its blog.
