In 2018, Netflix invited all subscribers to put on a blindfold and discover a hostile world where seeing was synonymous with death. This was the starting point for Bird Box, a sci-fi/horror-horror film directed by Sandra Bullock, which is one of the platform’s most viewed productions to this day (behind Red Notice and Don’t Look Up).
The American giant very quickly announced the start of a sequel, but the project did not seem to be progressing… until May 9, when Netflix released the Bird Box Barcelona teaser.
We quickly understand that it is more of a spin-off than a sequel since the action takes place on a different continent and it follows other characters.
Exit Sandra Bullock and her children, this Bird Box: Barcelona is worn in particular by Mario Casas (the star of Innocent on Netflix). He will give the reply to Georgina Campbell and Diego Calva.
