Sat.1 had “Birgit’s strong women” removed from the program in the summer, but is open to further cooperation with Schrowange.

Last summer, Birgit Schrowange’s (64) TV comeback with “Birgit’s strong women” on Sat.1 met with little response from viewers. At the request of the news agency spot on news, the station now at least indicates that fans of the presenter can still look forward to further programs with Schrowange.

Sat.1 spokesman Körfer: “Nobody has to worry”

“Nobody has to worry. Sat.1 and Birgit Schrowange are open to joint new program ideas,” explains Sat.1 broadcaster Christoph Körfer. It is unclear whether other formats are already planned.

In mid-June, Sat.1 stopped broadcasting the format “Birgit’s strong women” after two episodes. Schrowange had made her comeback on Sat.1 with the series after she had stopped at the end of 2019 with “Extra – Das RTL-Magazine” after around 25 years. In addition to “Birgit’s strong women”, Sat.1 also showed the joint formats “We will be more” and “Our Mallorca – with Birgit Schrowange” last year.

“It’s a shame! #BirgitsStarkeFrauen had fewer viewers than we had hoped. That’s why we will be removing the program from the program with immediate effect,” it said at the time on the station’s Twitter account. After the low ratings, a replacement slot was later found for the remaining episodes, on Sunday morning.
