Bitcoin price is slowly rising above $19,500. the BTC is currently (04:10 UTC) facing resistance near $19,650. A sharp move above the $19,650 and $20,000 resistance levels could open the doors for a steady rise.
Similarly, most major altcoins are expecting a steady increase. ETH could gain ground if it breaks above the $1,350 resistance zone. XRP is eyeing a further rise towards the $0.48 resistance. ADA is facing resistance near $0.435.
The price of bitcoin
After regaining the $19,000 level, bitcoin price began a steady rise. BTC was able to break through the $19,200 and $19,300 levels. It even broke through the $19,500 level and the 50 hourly simple moving average. The price is now facing strong resistance near the $19,650 level. The next major resistance is near $20,000, above which the price could take a bullish turn.
On the downside, an initial support can be found near the $19,300 level. The next major support is near the area of $19,000below which the price could drop to $18,500.
The price of Ethereum
the ethereum price also forged a base above the $1,265 level and initiated a steady rise. ETH was able to break above the $1,300 resistance zone. There was also a move above the $1,320 level and the 50 hourly simple moving average. On the upside, the price is facing resistance near the $1,330 level. The next major resistance is near the $1,350 level, above which the price could gain some bullish momentum.
On the downside, a first support can be found near the level of $1,305 and the 50-hour simple moving average. The next major support lies at $1,265, below which the price could take a downward turn.
The prices of ADA, BNB, SOL, DOGE, and XRP
Cardano (ADA) is consolidating above the $0.42 level. It is slowly moving towards the $0.435 resistance zone. The main support is seen near the $0.45 level, above which the price could rise towards $0.48.
BNB is trading in a range above the $285 level. It is facing resistance near the $292 level. The next major resistance is found at $295, above which it might hit the $300 level.
Solana (SOL) is up over 2% and trading above the $33 level. An immediate resistance stands near the $33.50 level. A quote above $33.50 could send the price towards the $35 level.
DOGE is consolidating above the $0.0600 level. If there is a decent advance, the price might reach $0.0620. If the bullish speculations get stronger, the price could possibly rise towards the $0.0642 level.
the XRP price is back above the $0.45 support. An immediate resistance can be found near the $0.465 level. A sharp move above $0.465 could send the price towards the $0.50 level.
The price of other altcoins in the market today
Many altcoins are in the green zone, including MKR, RUNE, EGLD, ATOM, MATIC, KAVA, LINK, LDO, QNT and LINK. Of these, MKR gained more than 8% and broke above the $830 level.
Overall, bitcoin price is showing positive signs above the $19,500 level. If BTC gains ground above $19,650, it could even break above the level of $20,000.
