Savings in Bitcoin? As we have seen recently, a growing majority of Bitcoin (BTC) addresses are going green. Indeed, according to data from Glassnode, 80% of BTC addresses would now have a latent added value in dollars if we consider the BTC price at the time of their transfer to the address, compared to their current value. Another sign bullish (bullish) today: there has never been as much of Bitcoin addresses with at least $1,000 valuable.

Nearly 8 million Bitcoin addresses with $1000 and above
If Bitcoin is still far from returning to its 2021 price peaks, around $69,000, some signs are not misleading on the good healthof the blockchain network invented by Satoshi Nakamoto . And it’s on-chain that we find these clues, thanks to data from Glassnodehighlighted by Blockware Solutions .
THE chart below lists the number of BTC addresses having at least a value of 1,000 dollars in Bitcoin. If the price peaks of February and November 2021 made it possible to reach the 7 million such addresses, however, it is not notduring these periods of ATH (historic high) of BTC prices that we find the record .
Indeed, it is with a value of bitcoin halved again compared to its ATH which we note, today, that this record is broken. We are heading straight towards the 8 million addresses with 1000 dollars and more in BTC.
If addresses with at least 1000 dollars multiply, the strategy of HODL on Bitcoin is doing well, too. Let us briefly recall that the latter simply consists of keep carefully its BTC over time. We thus count today in the 76% of BTC addresses having HODL/held for at least 5 monthsthe queen of cryptocurrencies.
