Humanitarian bitcoins. This is far from the first time that Human Rights Foundation (HRF) help from young projects linked to Bitcoin (BTC) and its ecosystem. This time, there are no less than 18 projects who will benefit from HRF aid funds, for a total of $500,000 financing.
The Human Rights Foundation understands the importance of Bitcoin for the world
Less than 3 months after helped 15 Bitcoin-related projectsthere Human Rights Foundation (Human Rights Foundation) goes again sustain development projects related to cryptocurrency.
As reported in particular by Bitcoin Magazine, this new aid is provided via the Bitcoin Development Fund. These are therefore 18 projects additional employees who benefit from and share an envelope of $500,000with for goals :
“(…) global education, the development of Bitcoin Core, the decentralization of mining, and the ability for developers from closed societies (authoritarian regimes) to participate and present at industry conferences. »
Here are some of the BTC projects supported by the HRF
Without making an exhaustive list, here is some examples projects funded by the Human Rights Foundation, to give an idea of the help each of them wishes to provide:
- Mostro is a decentralized crypto exchange built by Venezuelan developer Francisco Calderon. This DEX aims to establish an open protocol that specializes in helping developers of authoritarian regimes. With the HRF grant, Mostro will be able to support users even better in restrictive financial environmentsto facilitate their purchases and sales of BTC.
- We will group together in this point 3 projects supported by the Bitcoin Development Fund, because it aims all 3 to education of the populations (often financially excluded) for the use of cryptocurrencies:
1. Area Bitcoin will thus be able to extend its educational content on the king of cryptos to Braziland even internationally, by translating it into several languages.
2. Bitshalais an educational initiative carried out in Indiawhich provides guidance and resources for developers getting started in the crypto space.
3. Bitcoin Deepawill for its part be able to develop the BTC community Sri Lanka. Funds from the HRF will make it possible to organize monthly meetings on cryptocurrencies in several cities across the country.
- And finally, we will mention a project that we have already talked about in the Journal du Coin. This is the program Mi Primer Bitcoin from El Salvador. This non-profit organization provides training open source on Bitcoin throughout Central America, and even beyond.
And precisely, this grant from the Human Rights Foundation will allow to extend international expansionand the translation of Mi Primer Bitcoin educational programs. The “Bitcoin State Diploma” that it issues is an example of successful teaching of technologies and the benefits resulting from the invention of Satoshi Nakamoto.
