Bizarre accident – from the clinic underground car park to the accident ambulance

A driver in the neighboring Swiss canton of Graubünden went from the hospital to the hospital on Thursday evening. The man had crashed into a concrete pillar in the underground car park of the Chur Cantonal Hospital.

The 44-year-old driver drove into the support pillar when leaving the parking garage. He injured his arm so badly that he had to be treated on site by the hospital’s internal emergency staff and then taken to the emergency room. The vehicle suffered major damage and had to be towed away. According to the Chur city police, the exact cause of the accident is currently the subject of the ongoing investigation.
