The new Philips Senseo Select pod coffee maker introduces an Intensity system that lets you choose between three coffee lengths between 25 and 145 ml to obtain classic, long and short coffees as desired.
With its Senseo Select, Philips timidly renews its pod coffee maker by adding a third coffee size. Without being original, this little machine does what is expected of it and in silence, provided you are not in too much of a hurry and you like light coffee. For stronger coffee lovers who want to consume portioned coffee, it is still best to turn to Nespresso or Dolce Gusto coffee makers, even if the price of their capsules is higher than that of Senseo pods.

In addition, its catalog of capsules, less expensive than that of its competitor, and its availability in supermarkets could convince many users. Too bad that the capsules are made of aluminum, which in fact represents a real ecological abyss.
