The Sony Bravia XR-65A95L is a great TV. Very bright, the new QD-Oled panel delivers a striking HDR image, especially since it is perfectly calibrated in SDR and HDR. QD-Oled technology takes the advantage over Oled with its very wide colorimetric coverage, which can make the difference on certain content. This model stands out from the competition with its powerful audio system and its long list of features (integrated microphone, backlit remote control, Bravia Cam, Bravia Core).

Strong points

  • Image quality.
  • Very high peak brightness.
  • High performance anti-reflective filter.
  • Quality audio system.
  • Versatile Google TV.
  • Integrated microphone and camera.
  • Bravia Core (24 months of free access).
  • HDMI 2.1 inputs (4K 120 Hz, ALLM, VRR).
  • Backlit remote control with speaker (for easy finding).

Weak points

  • Disappearance of the headphone jack.
  • Only two HDMI 2.1 4K/120 Hz inputs.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude the prices of stores whose the VAT policy is not clear (so-called “gray” stores, typically in the case of imports from China).

The LG 65G3 is quite simply the best TV tested to date in our laboratory. It combines all the advantages of Oled technology (contrast, precision, responsiveness, viewing angles) with the high brightness of a Mini-Led model. Even the anti-reflective filter is even more efficient. If we look closely, we find minor flaws, such as a lower colorimetric coverage compared to QD-Oled televisions, a stand sold as an option or even a fairly standard remote control. The fact remains that this television is currently the best for all uses (films, series, video games, TV and sport).
