Retailers rarely give a discount of more than 50 percent on items as expensive as fully automatic coffee machines, even on Black Friday. But Saturn apparently flouts this unwritten rule and is now selling off this Krups fully automatic coffee machine at half the price.

According to the manufacturer, the Krups Evidence Ecodesign fully automatic coffee machine is the first model to combine ecological design and functionality. For example, the device can be completely recycled and does not have an energy-consuming display. So you buy the machine with a clear conscience. But what’s under the hood of the little slate-look coffee maker?
The coffee machine works with the Quattro Force technology, which according to the manufacturer should optimize every step of the coffee preparation. You can have eight preset drinks prepared for you: ristretto, espresso, lungo, americano, cappuccino, latte macchiato, caffe latte and hot water for tea. You can determine the coffee strength yourself if you wish and save it for later preparations. The maintenance effort of the device is low thanks to the cleaning system with cleaning tablets.
How good is the deal?
Compared to the RRP, you save more than 50 percent here. So you get a fully automatic coffee machine that normally costs more than 1,000 euros for less than 500 euros. That’s a fair price for a device with this equipment, but the price isn’t as unbeatably cheap as it appears at first glance. For example, Amazon and Media Markt are currently offering the fully automatic coffee machine for 459 euros.
Other dealers sometimes ask more than 600 euros. However, no dealer is currently calling out the original price of over 1,000 euros.
