Marvel fans will meet the new superhero Ironheart as early as 2022. Dominique Thorne is slated to make her debut in “Black Panther 2”.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is growing and growing. A new superhero will appear a little earlier than initially assumed, as the industry magazine “Variety” now reports. The character Riri Williams alias Ironheart, played by Dominique Thorne (23), will celebrate her first appearance in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” next year.

Tony Stark’s student

The sequel to “Black Panther” will therefore serve to present Ironheart to viewers for the first time before it will receive its own series on the Disney + streaming service, which was announced at the end of 2020. The role that the star from “Judas and the Black Messiah” will play is closely linked to the MCU’s absolute fan favorite. Because in the comic book, Riri Williams is a young, brilliantly intelligent MIT student who succeeds in recreating Iron Man’s suit. Tony Stark then takes her under his wing and encourages her to become a superhero.

As of now, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” should hit theaters in July 2022. It is not yet known when the “Ironheart” series will find its way to Disney +.
