BlackRock: 5% increase in EPS in the 3rd quarter

(CercleFinance.com) – BlackRock, the world’s leading asset manager, publishes adjusted net profit up 4% year-on-year, to just over $1.71 billion for the third quarter of 2024, i.e. $11.46 per share (+5%).

The New York group saw its adjusted operating margin improve by 3.5 points to 45.8% for revenues up 15% to $5.2 billion, while its average assets under management (AUM) increased by 18% to 11,071 billion.

“Clients placed their trust in BlackRock with record net inflows of $221 billion over the quarter,” underlines its CEO Laurence Fink, who also highlights organic growth of 5% in basic commissions, a high of several years.
