Ryan Reynolds has had a "scary" and "exciting" first time: he completed his first election as a US citizen.
The Hollywood couple Blake Lively (33, "Gossip Girl") and Ryan Reynolds (44, "Deadpool") did it: "It was the first time for Ryan," writes the actress on Instagram. What is meant is the voting in the context of the US presidential election. How did the native Canadian feel about it? "He was understandably scared. It all happened so quickly. Really quickly," explains his wife with a lot of humor. Reynolds cried, "I pretended to cry. Then he called all of his friends."
Reynolds himself, who has been a US citizen since 2018, also published a few lines about his first election in the United States. On a picture that shows him with Lively, he wrote: "I want to thank my wife Blake for making my first time so gentle and loving. First it was super scary, then exciting and now I'm a little tired . But proud. "
The US presidential election will take place on November 3, 2020. Democrat Joe Biden (77) will compete against incumbent President Donald Trump (74). The postal and pre-selection, which Lively and Reynolds apparently also made use of, is already in full swing.
