Blake Lively struggled with insecurities after giving birth to their third child. The fashion industry was to blame.

US actress Blake Lively (33, "Gossip Girl") apparently struggled with her body after the birth of her third child. The wife of actor Ryan Reynolds (44, "Deadpool") recently revealed in her Instagram story that she felt "unsafe" after the birth of her daughter Betty (1) in October 2019. The reason: For public appearances, she found hardly anything suitable to wear. She didn't fit into any of the clothes on offer.

To support her statement, Lively published a photo that she showed in January 2020 on "The Tonight Show" by Jimmy Fallon (46). The actress revealed that she had to put it together herself at the time. Because "nobody had designs that fit me after giving birth". She has not found anything in any store. The intention of the 33-year-olds: It is "not good news for women" if they do not fit into the clothes on offer. "It's alienating and confusing," explained the mother of three.

Blake Lively is more confident these days

Lively, looking back, wished "I would have felt as confident then as I do now." After all, her body gave birth to three healthy children and "produced the entire food supply". That is an absolute miracle for the actress. "But instead of being proud, I felt insecure. Just because I didn't fit into the clothes. How stupid is that in retrospect?"
