THE Dark Souls of FromSoftware have inspired many developers, including The Game Kitchenwho had already given birth to Blasphemous in 2019. Its artistic director Thomas Feichtmeir had also pitched a Dark Souls III in 2D at bandai namcowithout success, so he designed with a small team a metroidvania in the same dark and tortured spirit, and a sequel is coming soon.
Today, The Game Kitchen And Team17 Digital launch pre-orders for Blasphemous 2 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switchwith an edition Digital Deluxe exclusive to Steam, including the game and its digital soundtrack.
