Lovers and fans of metroidvania demanding still not having passed the milestone of current-genrejoice. Blasphemous 2 will arrive on our PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 2, the day after All Saints’ Day. For a title that highlights Christian myths, this is more of a calendar choice than an appropriate one.

As for the porting in question here, this should be an adaptation strictly speaking, without any particular addition or bonus to get your teeth into. That said, given the quality of the original material, there is no doubt that players will be happy with it. We will not return to the intrinsic merits of the title of The Game Kitchen (as well as its few pitfalls) largely highlighted by our dear Cael in his test.
The curious who like to know the little secrets of development and the internal mischief of independent studios will also be able to find what they are looking for in the documentary put online by The Game Kitchen, entitled “Landing Blasphemous: The making of Blasphemous 1” (available on a famous viewing platform). A documentary where the little hands who took part in the design of Blasphemous 1 speak without language, particularly rich in teaching. An initiative that we can only salute.
