Monday morning there was a traffic accident involving three cars on Wiener Straße in Graz-Andritz. Three people were slightly injured, one person seriously.
Around 9 a.m., a 39-year-old steered his car on Wiener Straße in the southeast direction. According to his own statements, he got into the oncoming lane due to the blinding sun and collided with a car that was being driven by a 59-year-old. Behind him drove a car, which was steered by a 20-year-old. This crashed into the 59-year-old’s car despite braking. All three people suffered minor injuries and were taken to UKH Graz. A 44-year-old who was in the passenger seat of the 20-year-old and suffered serious injuries in the accident was also brought to the UKH. The Gratkorn Markt volunteer fire brigade was deployed with 17 people and four vehicles.
