Do you need to quickly put some biscuits on the table, which ideally are also healthy? These delicious oatmeal cookies only need two ingredients and are ready in no time!

Sometimes things just can’t happen fast enough for us: when the neighbors’ children spontaneously come to play or our best friend pops in for a coffee, we always want to put a few treats on the table. But it doesn’t have to be the expensively bought biscuits, which also contain a lot of industrial sugar. Instead, how about healthy oatmeal cookies that only need two ingredients and are super quick to make?

Quick 2 ingredient oatmeal cookies

For about six servings of biscuits you only need these two ingredients:

  • 100 grams of oatmeal
  • 2 bananas

The following applies: The riper the bananas, the softer the cookies will be! This recipe is also great if your bananas are about to spoil.

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees top and bottom heat.
  2. Peel the bananas and mash them on a breakfast board. Then tip the mixture into a bowl and add the rolled oats. Mix well.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and wash your hands again. Then form biscuits from the oatmeal and banana mass and place them on the baking sheet.
  4. In the preheated oven, the biscuits are then baked on the middle rack for about 20 minutes. Let them cool down well before serving.

Refinement tips

Only oatmeal and bananas are too boring for you? You can also refine the delicious biscuits even further! Dried fruits such as plums or dates are suitable for an additional healthy booster. But nuts are also super tasty and healthy – Walnuts, chopped almonds or hazelnuts for example, give your biscuits that certain something. If, on the other hand, you like it a bit sweeter, you can add chocolate chips, raisins or coconut flakes to the batter.
