Since Overwatch, Blizzard didn’t create any new licenses, which is getting quite a while now. We finally had to wait for the takeover of the publisher by Microsoft so that we finally discovered a new project at Blizzard, which has just been unveiled, even if we still know very little about it.
Blizzard goes survival
On the official Blizzard website, we therefore discover the first concept arts for a brand new survival game on PC and consoles (certainly Xbox), with a new universe, which has no name yet. We seem to understand that the work has just started on the project, since on this same page, the publisher has published many job offers in order to recruit with a vengeance.
Here is what Blizzard says about this new game:
“ We’re going on a journey to a whole new universe, home to a brand new survival game for PC and consoles. A place filled with heroes we have yet to meet, stories to tell and adventures yet to be experienced. A vast realm of possibilities waiting to be explored. ยป
The timing of this announcement is certainly far from trivial, and it adds an additional game to watch from Microsoft, even if its release is still certainly very far away.
