After months of development and testing phases, the new mobile game from Blizzard is soon upon us. It is called Warcraft Rumbleand it comes out on November 3.
Blizzard is still far from finished with the Warcraft universe. While World of Warcraft is still in the place, that Hearthstone still has its followers, and that Warcraft III Reforged was (just a little) forgiven for its disastrous launch with updates, here comes Warcraft Archlight Rumble. Those more in the know will have noticed that Blizzard has finally adopted a shorter and easier to use name, dropping the “Archlight”.

Available since August via a soft launch in some countries around the world, Warcraft Rumble will therefore be launched globally on iOS (on iPhone 6s or higher) and Android on November 3. It is also possible to pre-register on the Play Store and the App Store to benefit from some bonuses at launch. We will obviously regret the absence of a desktop version, while special tablet versions are not mentioned by Blizzard.
Using miniature and cartoonish versions of many characters populating the Warcraft universe, the title mixes strategy and action. By collecting figurines (divided into five families, 60 figurines at launch) to increase the level of their collection, players will have to create armies in order to win challenges and fight bosses within a campaign of 70 missions . A heroic campaign and various modes will also be there to continue the adventure.
Coming soon to iOS and Android
A cooperation mode, dungeons and raids, as well as player versus player, will also be included. As well as a guild system with bonuses to unlock for its members. Free-to-play game requires, seasonal rewards and war chests will be included. The business model and items to purchase with real money or in-game currencies remain to be discovered. There is no doubt that systems of daily offers, packs and temporary bonuses will be there.
