While the Dragonflight Alpha is currently underway, Blizzard has decided tooffer the Shadowlands expansion for free as well as a level 50 sesame to former World of Warcraft players. So, if you don’t have the latest expansion of the famous MMORPG, Blizzard invites you to “dive back into World of Warcraft” before the release of the future expansion.
The offer is valid until September 5 under certain conditions. To be eligible, you must of course not own the Shadowlands expansion but have previously purchased at least one expansion of the game, regardless of which one. Thus, if you have stopped the game in Pandaria for example, you can directly retry the adventure in Shadowland.
To receive your gift, nothing could be simpler:
- Open the Battle.net app and log in
- Click the gift icon at the top right of the app, next to the notification bell icon
- In the confirmation window, search for your gifts and click on the button claim
- Launch World of Warcraft game and enjoy your adventure
This may help bring some old players back to Azeroth. Note that to play, it is necessary to have a subscription. Of course, the offer, valid only for former players, has been debated within the community of faithful who are also waiting for a gift from Blizzard.
