Blizzard’s new game has big news!

The new Warcraft game finally gives us the announcement that everyone has been waiting for, and it takes the opportunity to reveal itself more. Strategy, single player campaign, the whole package!

Warcraft is a license that has followed players for many years. Long before being an MMO approaching its twenties (yes, already), Warcraft was above all a series of RTS, real-time strategy games where we happily smashed each other’s faces. Now elevated to the rank of video game legend, Warcraft is best known for World of Warcraft, the most famous and one of the oldest MMORPGs still (very) active today. Blizzard subsequently released other games to ride on its license such as Hearthstone, or the version Classic of its MMO in particular. And a newcomer will be making its debut soon, the aptly named Warcraft Rumble. The latter is in a very closed testing phase in certain countries but things are about to change. Yes, the game finally has its release date!

A new Warcraft game that makes great promises!

No MMO, but strategy in this brand new Warcraft Rumble, the “first Warcraft game designed entirely for mobile”. It is indeed a game very inspired by Clash Royale. Two camps face each other in head-to-head matches where you must both defend your base and attack that of the enemy by sending troops. Beforehand, you will of course have to put together a deck with complementary units, all inspired by the Warcraft universe, and represented as small collectible figurines. Orcs, dwarves, griffins and legendary characters are therefore expected. However, unlike Clash Royale which, although it offers plenty of game modes regularly, always revolves around multiplayer, Warcraft Rumble goes much further. In addition to the competitive matches which will undoubtedly represent the heart of the experience, Blizzard promises us a whole bunch of solo and PvE content. A vast campaign will be available from launch with dozens of missions to complete and bosses to face, while a Raid mode will allow players to face bosses well known to fans of the universe.

The arenas are also very different from the competition. While we will certainly be entitled to classic two-lane maps, we have seen other drastically different maps with winding paths and even several branching paths. If it seems trivial said like that, in reality, the tempo of the games will be totally different and the strategies will therefore have to be adapted accordingly. Blizzard also promises constant monitoring, regular challenges, rewards galore and everything that goes with it, we know the drill. Warcraft Rumble will be available from November 3, 2023 on mobile. For the moment, only this platform is concerned and you can register now via the official website.

Already gifts to unlock!

In addition to the good news of the release date, Blizzard plans to celebrate the event with gifts redeemable by playing World of Warcraft. You can indeed find Warcraft Rumble arcade machines in the taverns of the main cities in the game. You can then collect Rumble Tokens and Metalized Rumbles by completing a few objectives and exploring. These will then allow you to unlock and customize a total of seven Warcraft Rumble collectible figurines. In addition, Blizzard will make several distributions and hold other small events via its social networks. Bonuses are also expected when the game launches.
