We could discover news on Diablo IV, content for OW2 and WoW or even a new unannounced multi FPS.

Finally back for the Blizzard Physics Lounge! The American studio has announced that its major annual event will return in 2023, after a two-year hiatus following the Covid-19 pandemic.

Canceled from 2020 to 2022 face-to-face, BlizzConline took over from BlizzCon in 2021, but without any real announcements. The studio had announced that it was taking its time to prepare real announcements during a physical return to the event. Mike Yberra had already teased this return and is now making it official: a real BlizzCon is coming in 2023without having clearly indicated the format for the moment, but there is no doubt that it will be on site.

On a blog post from Blizzard, we can read:

Yes, we’re bringing BlizzCon back – more on that early next year!

If all goes well, the event will probably take place in the last quarter of 2023 as in previous years. What could we discover there? No doubt a little Diablo IV gameplay, scheduled for June, a new season for Overwatch 2 and therefore a new exclusive character, or even the continuation of the World of Warcraft roadmap. The acquisition by Microsoft, which is still dragging on the side of the world’s regulatory authorities, could also upset the functioning of the studio after more than a year of legal problems following accusations of toxic behavior. At last, why not news about the new unannounced multiplayer FPS? Wait and see…
