Blood deed in Innsbruck – suspected murder: result of autopsy remains secret

After the alleged violent death of a 28-year-old woman last week in Innsbruck, the autopsy result is now available. For tactical reasons of investigation, however, the public prosecutor’s office is still keeping a low profile.

According to the prosecutor, the 34-year-old partner is suspected of murder. The questioning of the accused was ongoing. The man is still in custody in the Innsbruck prison. The 28-year-old woman was admitted to the Innsbruck clinic last Wednesday with serious injuries – especially on her face. She succumbed to her injuries on Thursday. The accused alleged that his girlfriend had contracted it in a fall. Explanation not very credible This explanation, however, “cannot be reconciled with the injury pattern,” said LKA investigator Gert Hofmann on Thursday. This was confirmed by both the emergency doctor who arrived first and the doctors from the Innsbruck clinic.
