Like “Invincible” or “Star Trek – Lower Decks,” “Blood of Zeus” is an entertaining animated series that is not aimed at children, but rather at adult viewers. The Netflix series is about stories from Greek mythology in which demons and gods face each other in brutal battles.
After a long wait, the second season was released in May 2024 and continues the huge clashes in Olympus. The third season of the animated series has already been confirmed and will not keep viewers in suspense for quite as long. New episodes are scheduled to appear as early as 2025.
Blood of Zeus Season 3: Start
There is currently no exact start date for the third season of “Blood of Zeus”. After the first season was released in October 2020 and the following season only in May 2024, i.e. there was a gap of over 3 1/2 years, series creator Charley Parlapanides assured in an interview with Whats on Netflix that it wasn’t quite the same this time will take a long time:
“We would like to apologize to all fans because the long wait is frustrating. […] we would like to apologize. And we also want them all to tune in, God willing. […] The third season won’t last as long. It will take about a year, not another three and a half years.”

Blood of Zeus Season 3: Plot
The new episodes could be about the consequences after Gaia broke the Elseusian Stone and awakened the Titans. Her actions stem from Hades’ selfish actions and her decision that the Olympians are no longer worthy of her power.
What the Titans will do with their legendary strength remains to be seen. Until now, only the power of all the gods, especially that of Zeus, could keep them in check. Should all the Titans return, it would spell disaster for the Olympians, who would now have to go into battle without the powers of Zeus or Heron.
