Blue Ivy Carter, the daughter of superstar Beyoncé, can look forward to a subsequent Grammy nomination.

Blue Ivy Carter, 8, is officially allowed to include a Grammy nomination on her résumé. The daughter of Beyoncé (39, "Dreamgirls") and Jay-Z (51) was subsequently put on the nomination list. Together with her mother, who was able to celebrate the most nominations of all artists at the announcement at the end of November, she can hope for the award for the best music video for "Brown Skin Girl". Blue Ivy worked on the song with her mother as well as Wizkid (30) and Saint Jhn (34). Wizkid was also able to look forward to a subsequent nomination, Saint Jhn, who could not be seen in the video, is still missing from the list.

Blue Ivy Carter received a BET Award for the song in June. Her mother Beyoncé received Grammy nominations for the music video of "Brown Skin Girl" and the song "Black Is King" – both pieces she contributed to the 2019 remake of the Disney classic "The Lion King".

Her single "Black Parade" was also nominated four times ("Record Of The Year", "Song Of The Year", "Best R&B Performance" and "Best R&B Song"). Beyoncé was also heard on the song "Savage" by rapper Megan Thee Stallion (25), who can hope for three prizes. The Grammys will be awarded on January 31, 2021, as planned. The gala will be moderated by the South African comedian Trevor Noah (36).
