Blue Protocol: The MMO will be released in spring 2023 in Japan, new trailer

We had lost track of him for several months, but Blue Protocol seems to be doing better than ever. The MMORPG published by Bandai Namco had given us an appointment for a supposedly rich in announcements livestream, but this one was above all reserved for the Japanese public, with some good news on the progress of the game. Fortunately, the Occident will also soon be entitled to some information.

A global version announced at the Game Awards?

First of all, we note that the MMO is slowly heading towards its exit. A test phase will take place from January 14 to 16, 2023 and will be limited to 50,000 participants. Next, Blue Protocol should be released sometime in spring 2023 on PC, but only in Japan at first.

Rest assured, the title should logically be released worldwide eventually, and we guess it from the fact that Bandai Namco is already giving us an appointment for the Game Awards, with a new trailer that will be broadcast. Given the audience reached by the ceremony, we suspect that it has to do with a global version of Blue Protocolwhich could be announced at Geoff Keighley.

Until then, we can still enjoy the trailer broadcast during the livestream, which focuses on the important characters of the MMO, all with some gameplay images accompanied by the music of Hiroyuki Sawano (Attack on Titan, Gundam…).
