(Boursier.com) — A circular economy startup created in 2019, Bluedigo is fitting out eco-responsible offices with refurbished office furniture and new eco-designed furniture… To accelerate its growth, the startup is raising 1 million euros with the Manutan International Group and several family offices.

Bluedigo buys furniture from major brands from companies that are moving or redeveloping their offices to recondition it and offer it to other companies. Bluedigo also offers new eco-responsible furniture made in France thanks to its committed partners (Louis Bureau, Leet Design, TipToe, La Chaise Française…).

In the name of the law

The AGEC law (anti-waste law for the circular economy) which recently came into force on January 1, 2022 should further develop the use of refurbished office furniture… Indeed, its implementing decree of March 9, 2021 now requires public purchasers to devote at least 20% of their purchases to products resulting from reuse. Ministries, communities or even universities, Bluedigo has already supported many public buyers in this transition by providing its expertise and experience on refurbished office furniture.

Since 2021, Bluedigo also equips employees with telework with its “Pass Remote” solution. This solution, simple and quick to implement, is presented in the form of an online e-commerce platform. Employees have access to a catalog 100% dedicated to telework of office furniture, IT and ergonomic accessories. 10,000 employees have already been equipped for teleworking with the “Pass Remote” (Accenture France, AON France, ManoMano, Maincare, etc.).

A development strategy based on the circular economy

Faced with the growing enthusiasm of companies for refurbished office furniture, the startup Bluedigo has quadrupled its turnover between 2020 and 2021. Bluedigo has already supported more than 1,200 companies since its creation (startups, large groups, institutions public, coworking spaces).

“This fundraising will allow us to increase our capacity to give a second life to office furniture and accelerate our development in France” declared Maxime Baffert, Founder of Bluedigo.
