(Boursier.com) – Bluelinea , a major operator of the Silver Economy sector in France, announces the finalization, on December 31, 2021 at midnight, of the acquisition of Securitas Téléassistance. This strategic operation, the principle and modalities of which were announced on November 25, allows Bluelinea to pass the milestone of 50,000 families supported on a daily basis and to climb into the Top 5 on the French tele-assistance market. In one year, Bluelinea has grown from 28,588 families supported, day and night, thanks to the deployment of ‘HELP’ solutions and services, to 52,473 subscribers at the end of 2021, an increase of 83%. On a French tele-assistance market estimated at nearly 90 ME per year for more than 700,000 subscribers supported, Bluelinea thus ends the year 2021 with a market share of more than 7%.

The acquisition, the amount of which remains confidential, is self-financed with a payment schedule for 2021 and 2022 compatible with the company’s forecast cash flows. The first payment was made on December 29, 2021 and was covered by the proceeds from the sale, on November 19, 2021, of 120,000 Bluelinea treasury shares in order not to impact the cash flow allocated to the activity.

In order to optimize the integration of the Securitas Teleassistance teams (21 people), Bluelinea has implemented a plan to optimize its organization and its costs, the objective of which is to generate recurring savings in operating costs of 1.4 ME for a full year from 2022. No additional investment is therefore expected to support this change of scale.

Thus, with an additional turnover of 2.1 ME for a normative EBITDA of 0.5 ME, the acquisition of Securitas Téléassistance is “an operation immediately creating value”. It will have a positive impact on Bluelinea’s results and will help achieve positive EBITDA at the end of 2022.
