Bluetti: this new electrical station combines small size and maximum power

Generators are not just for van owners, quite the contrary. Ultra-compact, the new Bluetti AC180 is a precious ally for spending good times in the great outdoors.

As summer approaches, Bluetti allows you to enjoy the comfort of your home, but outdoors. With its new AC180 electric generator, the manufacturer offers a product no bigger than a handbag, but with a big power output.

Whether you are at the bottom of your garden or even on the beach, the Bluetti AC180 allows you to have music, cold drinks and even to cook grilled meats. And, when you’re at home, the AC180 can also be used as a backup generator.

A generator as practical outside as inside

Although it is relatively compact, measuring 34 × 24.7 × 31.7 cm, the Bluetti AC180 generator is particularly well equipped and includes all the most common sockets and ports. You can thus simultaneously connect a smartphone via USB-C, up to four terminals via USB-A and, as a bonus, connect two devices to the 230-volt AC outlets.

In addition to offering a fairly complete connection, this generator also demonstrates a remarkable power of 1800 W which can be increased to 2700 W thanks to a specific mode. Unlike most electric generators limited to 2000 W, it can thus power a hob, a grill, a kettle, or even a microwave.

In the event of a power outage, such power not only allows the generator to save the contents of your fridge, but also to cook and power most of your appliances.

On this point, the AC180 goes even further and can register as an automatic backup generator. Connected, for example, between a PC and a household power outlet, the generator automatically takes over in the event of a power cut. It fires in just 20ms, so you don’t lose the data you’re working on.

Solar energy to increase its autonomy tenfold

For its new generator model, Bluetti has certainly opted for compactness, but has made no compromise on autonomy. The AC180 has a large 1152 Wh battery capable of powering a standard fridge with a freezer compartment for over 4 hours, or a mini fridge for 17 hours.

However, there is no need to plan the day to recharge your Bluetti AC180. On mains, the battery becomes full in less than 2 hours thanks to the 1440 W fast charge. And when you are outside, you can recharge it using your car, a lead-acid battery, or of a 500 W solar panel.

The American firm has planned everything so that this new generator never lets go of you. Especially since at any time, you can check the remaining battery level from its LCD screen or on the Bluetti application.

This powerful, versatile generator is available on the American brand’s website at the contained price of 999 euros with a 5-year warranty. The Bluetti AC180 therefore benefits from one of the best equipment-price ratios on the market.
