BMW: delivered 82,700 electric vehicles in the 1st quarter


(CercleFinance.com) – BMW Group will continue its rise in electromobility in 2024 with new vehicle offers.

The company delivered a total of 82,700 fully electric BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce vehicles to customers worldwide in the first three months of the year.

This represents more than 27.9% year-on-year growth in BEV sales for the BMW Group. The increase in sales of fully electric vehicles benefited from a balanced performance in all major regions of the world.

BMW Group delivered a total of 594,671 vehicles to its customers in the first quarter of this year (+1.1%). The company saw strong growth in Europe, in particular, during the first three months.

‘BMW Group continues its growth in the field of electric vehicles. With the delivery of the millionth fully electric vehicle since the launch of the BMW i3, we have reached an important milestone that confirms the attractiveness of our product portfolio,’ said Jochen Goller, member of the Board of Management of BMW AG responsible for customers, brands and sales.
