BNP Paribas: gains nearly 2%, a broker in support


(CercleFinance.com) – BNP Paribas gained nearly 2% in Paris, thanks to a positive analysis from Oddo BHF, which maintained its ‘outperformance’ rating on the stock, with an unchanged price target of 71 euros.

While BNP Paribas will present its net income for the 4th quarter on February 8, Oddo already posted revenues of 11,397 ME in the 4th quarter (+5.3%), very slightly above the consensus (11,336 ME, +4.7%).

The broker is also counting on the new 2022/25 strategic plan, which will be detailed in mid-March, to strengthen the group and synergies.

BNP Paribas also announced today that it has finalized the acquisition of the online bank Floa, a structure which has more than three million customers, finances 2.5 billion euros of goods and services each year and aims to become the European leader in payment facilities.
