Bob Odenkirk is feeling better after a breakdown on the set of Better Call Saul. He had a “minor heart attack”.

After a breakdown on the set of “Better Call Saul”, Bob Odenkirk (58) spoke up. “I had a small heart attack”, confirms the actor on Twitter. Odenkirk wants to take a break to relax. He wants to return soon.

The series star thanked family and friends who had surrounded him last week – as well as his fans for their “overwhelming” sympathy. “I can feel the love and that means so much,” the actor continues. Last but not least, he thanked the team of doctors who were able to remove a blockage without Odenkirk having to undergo an operation.

Collapse in Albuquerque

The 58-year-old had collapsed a few days ago on the set of the “Breaking Bad” spin-off “Better Call Saul” in Albuquerque and was taken to a hospital. “We can confirm that Bob is in a stable condition after an incident related to his heart,” said the actor’s spokesman the industry journal “The Hollywood Reporter” confirmed.

The sixth and final season of the series was originally scheduled to start this year. Because production was delayed by the corona pandemic, the new episodes are not expected to be seen until 2022. According to insiders, the shooting is supposed to be a little more than halfway through.
