Nick Carter’s sister died as a result

The cause of Bobbie Jean Carter’s death has been determined: Nick and Aaron Carter’s sister died as a result of taking drugs.
Bobbie Jean Carter (1982-2023), the sister of Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter (44), died on December 23, 2023 at the age of just 41. The cause of death has now been determined. According to People magazine, Carter died from the combined effects of the drugs fentanyl and methamphetamine. This emerges from the investigation by the responsible medical examiner in the US state of Florida. Bobbie Jean Carter’s death is therefore classified as an accident.
The numerous strokes of fate of the Carter family
Nick Carter’s sister was found unconscious in her bathroom by roommates on the morning of December 23rd. She was taken to a nearby hospital with a cardiac arrest, but any help came too late. In the wake of the tragic death, it was revealed that Bobbie Jean Carter had been serving a prison sentence for cocaine possession from September to November last year and was on parole at the time of her death. However, no drugs were found in the bedroom or bathroom of her home after her death.
Aaron Carter also died in the bathroom
For the Carter family, Bobbie Jean’s death was another extremely difficult blow of fate. Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter has already lost three of his four siblings. In November 2022, his brother Aaron Carter (1987-2022) was found lifeless in his bathroom at the age of 34. He drowned in his bathtub after taking drugs. Nick Carter’s sister Leslie Carter (1986-2012) died of an overdose in January 2012 at the age of 25.
These celebrities died from taking fentanyl
Fentanyl, which led to the death of Bobbie Jean Carter, is an extremely powerful opioid, around 50 times stronger than heroin and is currently the deadliest drug in the USA. As of 2020, of more than 100,000 annual drug overdose deaths, about two-thirds are associated with fentanyl.
Numerous celebrities also succumbed to the effects of the drug. These most recently included rapper Coolio (“Gangsta’s Paradise”, 1963-2022), who died in September 2022, “Euphoria” star Angus Cloud (1998-2023), “The Wire” star Michael K. Williams (1966-2021) and Leandro De Niro Rodriguez (2004-2023), the grandson of Hollywood star Robert De Niro (80).
