(CercleFinance.com) – Boeing announces that the Government of Canada has signed a letter of offer and acceptance of foreign military sales for a maximum of 16 Boeing P-8A Poseidon aircraft, as part of the project Canadian Multi-Mission Aircraft (CMMA).
Canada becomes the fifth NATO country to choose the P-8 as a multi-mission aircraft. The first delivery is expected in 2026.
‘The P-8 will enhance Canada’s defense capability and readiness, and we look forward to providing this capability to the Royal Canadian Air Force,’ said Heidi Grant, president of business development for Boeing Defense, Space & Security.
