(CercleFinance.com) – Boeing and Air Tanzania are celebrating the delivery of the airline’s first 767-300 Freighter.
The plane arrived at the airline’s hub in Dar es Salaam on Saturday and will provide the operator with dedicated air cargo capacity to serve the country’s growing cargo market.
The delivery also marks the first direct Boeing 767 Freighter delivery to an African carrier.
‘We are delighted to welcome the Boeing 767-300 Freighter to our fleet. The 767 will meet the growing demand for cargo that was previously flown by passenger aircraft,” Eng said. Ladislaus Matindi, General Manager of Air Tanzania.
