(CercleFinance.com) – Boeing announces that Ethiopian Airlines has agreed to order 11 787 Dreamliner aircraft and 20 737 MAX aircraft, with the possibility of 15 and 21 additional jets, respectively, representing the ‘largest purchase of Boeing aircraft ever in the history of Africa.
The American group specifies that the 787 order consists of the 787-8 and 787-9 variants, which ‘bring better environmental performance and better passenger comfort in their respective markets’.
The aircraft manufacturer and Ethiopian Airlines have also agreed to work together to provide cabin modification services for the Ethiopian carrier’s existing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
