Boeing: stable funding for the airline sector in 2022

(CercleFinance.com) – Boeing announces that its exclusive subsidiary, Boeing Capital Corporation, has published the CAMFO 2022, a report presenting the Outlook for the commercial aircraft financing market for 2022.

This document outlines the aircraft manufacturer’s near-term view of market dynamics and assesses funding sources for new commercial aircraft deliveries. He believes the airline industry will remain resilient in 2022 and will benefit from ample liquidity in the market and growing opportunities as traffic recovers.

“Financiers and investors remain committed to the long-term fundamentals that continue to make aircraft a valuable asset class,” said Tim Myers, chairman of Boeing Capital Corporation.

Thus, for the second consecutive year, 100% of Boeing deliveries were financed by third parties, with the main sources of financing for deliveries being cash, capital markets and sale-leasebacks.

Commercially, Boeing also anticipates a global demand of around 43,500 aircraft by 2040, representing a market of some $7,200 billion.
