Bogart: down after point on retail sales – 01/19/2023 at 11:53

(CercleFinance.com) – Bogart loses more than 10% after an update on the activity of its stores in France, given the current difficult context (inflation, purchasing power, war in Ukraine) and cost increases, the group warning that this situation will impact its 2022 results.

The perfume and cosmetics manufacturer “confirms the prospect of an increase in its annual turnover in 2022 without however reaching its EBITDA target and without this calling into question the fundamentals of the group”.

In response to this difficult situation, its subsidiary April France is considering a reorganization project providing for the potential closure of 17 stores in France (out of 67 points of sale) which could lead to the elimination of 50 positions as part of a PSE.
