(AOF) – Boiron announces that its turnover for the third quarter of 2023 is down 5.7%, to 121 million euros, specifying that “restated for the drop in sales of Covid tests”, this decline “is limit to 2.8% and is exclusively linked to the deterioration of exchange rates”. The laboratory specializing in homeopathy adds that the drop in test sales “should lead to a decline in turnover for the year 2023 compared to 2022”, but that excluding test sales, this turnover “should be growing, depending on the end-of-year pathology »
The group announced on October 20 that the Boiron family concert “proceeded to transfer all of the securities it held in the capital of the company” for the benefit of the company Boiron Developpement, i.e. a transfer, by way of contribution in kind and transfer, of 12,255,758 Boiron shares, “representing 69.85% of the capital and 78.08% of the theoretical voting rights, on the basis of a unit price of €39.64 per share”.
These transfers will be followed by the submission by the company Boiron Developpement, during the 4th quarter of 2023, of a draft compulsory simplified public purchase offer on Boiron shares and, if the conditions are met at the end of the ‘Offer, of a compulsory withdrawal. This proposed Offer, which would be made at the same price of 39.64 euros per Boiron share, will be subject to a compliance decision by the Financial Markets Authority.
