(Boursier.com) – Bollore soars by nearly 10% to 4.76 euros at the start of the session in Paris. The group announced last night that it had received an offer from MSC, a specialist in sea freight, for its transport and logistics activities in Africa on the basis of an enterprise value of 5.7 billion euros. Vincent Bolloré’s group has granted exclusivity to MSC until March 31, 2022 with a view to a possible promise to purchase.

If this sale goes to an end, Bolloré will have turned an important page in its history and it will remain to be seen what will be the next step envisaged by Vincent Bolloré who must theoretically cede the reins of his group to his children at the beginning of 2022, notes Invest Securities. The question of simplifying the group’s structures will not fail to arise …

In mid-October, ‘Le Monde’, which affirmed that the group had started to survey potential buyers for Bolloré Africa Logistics, specified that the branch in question had generated in 2020 a turnover of 2.1 billion euros and could be “valued between 2 billion and 3 billion euros”.
