Bolloré: logistics activities performed well in 2021 – 03/10/2022 at 18:04

(AOF) – Bolloré made a net profit of 20.22 billion euros in 2021, this including 19.987 billion euros in capital gains from the deconsolidation of 70% of UMG. The group’s net income thus amounted to 6.06 billion euros, against 426 million a year earlier. Adjusted operating income amounted to 1.34 billion euros, up 77%, of which 714 million for Transport & Logistics (+32%), 71 million for Oil Logistics (+28%) and 748 million (+121%) for communication activities (Vivendi).

Revenue for the 2021 financial year amounted to 19.771 million euros, up 18% at constant scope and exchange rates. Vivendi represented 9.57 billion (+9%), driven mainly by the growth of Canal+ Group (+5.2%), as well as the strong rebound of Havas (+10.7%) and Editis ( +18.1%), particularly affected by the health crisis in 2020.

The Transport and Logistics activities achieved a turnover of 731 billion euros, up 26%, including +35% for Bolloré Logistics thanks to strong levels of activity in the maritime and air transport and a favorable price effect, and +9% for Bolloré Africa Logistics, driven by the growth of port terminals and the resumption of logistics activities in the second half.

Oil logistics grew by 32%, to 2.51 billion euros, thanks to the rise in oil product prices and volumes (trading in particular). Finally, Electricity storage and systems generated 370 million euros in revenue, up 34% due to the increase in sales of batteries and 12-meter buses.

Bolloré proposes the payment of a dividend of 6 cents per share, identical to that paid for 2020.
