Bombardier: a Challenger 650 ordered in Germany


(CercleFinance.com) – Bombardier announced Thursday that the association of German motorists and road users, ADAC, had ordered a Challenger 650 to be configured as an ambulance plane.

The aircraft, which has a range of 4,000 miles (7,408 km), will be used for transport and medical evacuation on behalf of ADAC customers around the world.

The aircraft, which will accommodate up to four stretchers, is expected to be delivered in 2026.

Aero-Dienst, the repatriation services subsidiary of ADAC, currently operates an ambulance fleet consisting of two Dornier 328 jets and two Learjet 60XRs, which are used to transport up to 1000 patients per year for members of ADAC-Plus and ADAC-Premium.
