BONDS: France raises 3 billion euros with its new 30-year-old OATei


FRANKFURT (Agefi-Dow Jones)–France raised 3 billion euros on Tuesday through the issuance by syndication of a new 30-year Eurozone Inflation-Linked Treasury Bond (OATei), indicated one of the banks leading the operation. Demand for this issue exceeded 23.5 billion euros.

The new OATei, which bears a coupon of 0.10%, will mature in July 2053.

The spread was set 14 basis points above the actual rate of the OATei July 2047 0.10%, this establishment also indicated.

BNP Paribas, Citi, Crédit Agricole CIB, JPMorgan and Société Générale led the operation.
